No. Lightbulb Perspective is not therapy, counselling or clinical support. It is experience-based empowerment coaching for people who want to live a happier and more fulfilled life.  I offer an honest perspective, confidentiality and a safe space to talk through what you are carrying.

If I feel you need clinical or specialist mental health support, I will say that clearly and encourage you to find the right professional help. My work is for people who need clarity, perspective and real talk when life feels complicated. 

This is for individuals who may look fine on the outside, but feel lost, overwhelmed or unsure inside. That might be because of divorce, relationship challenges, burnout, career crossroads, midlife changes, confidence loss or simply the feeling that you need someone safe to talk to.

It is also for organisations that want a more human way to support employees who may never use an EAP or speak openly to HR. I often work in the space where someone is not in crisis, but not fine either.

We start with a real conversation. You can tell me what is going on, what feels difficult and what you are hoping to understand more clearly.

There is no need to arrive with perfect words or a clear plan. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions and help you work out whether Lightbulb Perspective is the right support for you or your organisation.

Yes, confidentiality is paramount to how I work. People need to feel safe enough to speak honestly, especially when they are talking about personal situations, pressure at work or life changes they have not shared elsewhere.

For organisations, this is also why Lightbulb Perspective sits outside normal management routes. Employees need somewhere they can speak freely without feeling exposed.

An EAP can be useful, but not everyone uses it, and mostly it is immensely underutilised. Some people do not feel they are in crisis. Some do not want something that feels clinical. Some are simply not ready to make that kind of call.

Lightbulb Perspective fills the gap between EAP and therapy. It gives people a confidential, human place to talk before silence becomes burnout, absence, disengagement or resignation.

I bring both corporate experience and lived experience. I spent 30+ years in international finance, including 25 years at Citigroup, and I have managed teams across the UK, US, Japan, Greece, Luxembourg and Hungary.

I have also lived through many of the life transitions people come to me with. That combination means I understand the pressure to keep performing while carrying more than people can see. People relate to me as I’ve been there and seen a lot. I can share my own and other people’s experiences to help you achieve your lightbulb moment.
